Back at last!

To my three readers,

I am very sorry I have been silent so long; I’ve been on winter vacation, I have been doing skiing, and a lot of après-ski!

I have been learning a lot and I have done my examinations and got good grades!

And I have today got my DVD from Amazon: The prince and the showgirl, With Marilyn Monroe and Lawrence Olivier!

White cats

I like anything feminine and glamorous. And what is more feminine as a white fluffy cat?

I so much want a white fluffy cat! Ever since as a small kid I saw a toycat in Germany, from steiff.

I cant find a picture of it, but it was só sweet!

Now I do have an adopted white cat, it’s from the next-door neighbours of a friend of mine who lives in another place… I know, that is pretty via via, but It is a lovely cat!

Now the bad news: next months they are going to move! And I will lose my adoptive cat!

Pffff! I loved the party I went to! I had lovely champagne, me and my girlfriends dressed like thirties moviestars!

I got kissed a lot, and kissed many handsome guys!

Small hats

I can find much more good small hats than large hats. Perhaps because they have less chance to get broken. I had such sweet chic hats! I have lost a whole box in moving house!

Why is it so unusual nowadays to wear hats?
The right hat, on the right head, is the ultimate in chic! Large hats, and small hats, and just a tuft of feathers!

I love this photo, this is ofcourse hopelessly retro; with the bent head, and the bent shoulders! Só fifties! But I think that a lot of modern fashion photography is hopelessly contrived. I am a hopeless oldfashioned glamour addict. I also like black and white, or in this case, a colour theme, it gives a sense of restfullness.

I think this cover from french Vogue lacks style and class. I like erotic imagery but this is coarse and yuck and plain ugly! Why is ugliness so important today?
